TCU was 5-6 in 2004 (worst team under Patterson), bragging about beating a 5-6 TCU team.

Actually not bragging both TCU-USF games were very competive.

2003 undefeated TCU beat USF in Tampa 13-10. Horned Frogs ended season 11-2, Bulls 7-4
2004 USF defeated TCU in Fort Worth 45-44, Horned Frogs ended season 5-6, Bulls ended season 4-7, our worst season ever and only losing season since our first year of football

Ucf must be desperate for good news if a poll with a 800 people sample size in central Florida, is making them pump up their chest, congrats for being number 3 in your own area, I'll take the program with actual wins over fsu/miami and isn't being sued for 10-12 million dollars.

Actually, more USF fans fell for the bait (meaningless article about a poll)...as it seems this silly poll by some NC Organization has upset a lot of Bull fans for some reason or another....as even most UCF fans have noted how the author of said article (Bianchi) is a moron.

This is a touchy subject with both fan bases. LOL. Im not familiar with the SMU-TCU relationship, but maybe its similar to that. Any article no matter how stupid that compares the two will raise a crap storm

Bring UCF into the BE to increase BE conference presence in Florida and push the War on I-4 as a season ending battle through the NE media and both schools will top Miami in Florida. Miami has a national presence when they cheat and win but are an after thought in the BE territory at this time since they moved to the ACC. Florida U will always be number 1 and Florida St will always be number 2 in Florida and nationally with Miami's demise in the ACC. UCF and USF can battle for 3 and 4 respectively through the War on 4 on an annual basis once that game is renewed in the future.

Florida will always be #1 in our state. I wouldnt say FSU status as #2 is so entrenched. As long as they win that will continue, they go thru a drought in wins and they could be in trouble. While UF is seeing as the #1 academic school in our state, FSU s NOT seeing as the unanimous #2 choice, so their support is not as widespread.

While I would agree that Florida is the clear #1, I would personally put FSU as the clear #2. While they have struggled with attendance over the past few years, I feel a lot of that has been due to the economy limiting the amount of trips families can afford to make to Tallahassee.

The Miami fan base is the tricky one. Depending on how well they are doing, they can have a fan base on par with Florida State's, or on par with USF and UCF. The lack of a large alumni base and consistency out of casual fans puts them at #3, IMO.

UCF is not BE material yet.

Not some much anti UCF but I do want to see some changes in the way they do things down in Orlando. When O'Leary leaves-(sooner rather then later for my taste) I would welcome them with open arms.

But @ this moment there is no real need to add anyone especially if the TV Numbers are as good as the ACC when it is redone.

FSU's worst days are behind them. They have the best coach in the state of Florida right now and the best recruiting.

Rick Trickett is a big reason for FSU's climb back to BCS respectability. IMO he's the best O-line coach in the nation...
