It doesn't matter since they've NEVER tracked underemployment under any administration. The numbers would likely show much the same trend as unemployment.

It does matter because people run out of unemployment benefits, where the chart just loses those people and they become unaccounted for. Unemployment has to go even higher because people will be fired and removed from the gov't tit or the system collapses.

Welcome back TOGC, still see you're as ignorant as ever.

However, I do look forward to you continuing to tell us about the signed, sealed and delivered reelection of Obama in spite of a 44% approval rating and approval ratings on the economy in the 30's.

Well here's a cheery headline:

Return of Mass Layoffs a Grim Sign for U.S. Workers
http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-tic...28219.html

Congrats Obama, you've pushed us back to the Carter years. But, if you try real hard, you have enough time to hit a 30's era Depression.

Had we listened to Jimmy Carter we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today but people didn't want to hear the truth so they elected the Pied Piper Ronald Reagan that spent future generations money while taking the debt from just over 900 billion to well over 3 Trillion by the time George H. W. bush was done. I didn't like Carter then either but in hindsight can see his brilliance

Carter is an intellectually bankrupt peanut farmer, I can see why, PeaweePeaBrain would find brilliance there.

He wouldn't play your game of piling up debt so you found someone that would in Ronald Reagan. I voted for Reagan twice and enjoyed the ride but the bill has now come due so quit complaining and pay you debt

Perhaps Obama should have paid the bill before running up more trillions.

The unemployment rate was over 10%. Now it's just over 9%.

That's called a drop. Just like the average IQ of the place when I'm not around.

What was the unemplolyment rate when Obama took office boo boo? Was it higher or lower than it is now?

And it has risen since March. This is way after the supposed 800 billion dollar stimulus was supposed to ensure unemployment didn't go above 8 (Obama's words).

I had forgotten how woefully ignorant you are. Thanks for reminding me.

So with the cuts that the Republicans want, do we really think that's going to help the unemployment rate within the next few years?
