I think the US are over-matched in this game ... MEX has got some runners ... it'll be interesting to see the spacing the US showcase in this finale ... gonna be a dandy. My household is offically split starting at 6:00 pm PST - me (USA) vs. wifey (MEX)!!!

here is what we need to do to win.

1)Press up top. Don't let them build from their backline. Force them to win headers in the midfield.

2)Lichaj needs to keep Dos Santos in front of him. If Dos Santos gets past him on the wing frequently we are toast.

3)Jones and Bradley must not waste possession. I'd almost rather have Edu playing rather than Jones because Edu stays home more.

If we do those three things we will win the game and someone on Mexico will get a red card from frustration.

I don't think this will be a blowout. The US was arguably the better team in the knockout portions of this tournament. Plus, this US squad knows Mexico. They will be ready. TxTiger has the keys to victory right though. We must do that.

I have univision HD but it doesn't have the game listed on the guide.

From positions 1-10 the US is better than Mexico....unfortunately, that 11th player for Mexico is very, very special and ours is an 18 year old kid who has played only 13 games at the club level.

You can say what you want about Bob, but with that lineup he's going for the win sure as hell. The US is either going to win with that lineup or get blown off the field.

I will say this about bradley. If he gets a hint that Adu isnt cutting it, he has shown the ability to bring out the quick hook. example, Torres at the Sasprissa during that last WC cycle.
