that was a great cross. When it was struck I yelled " you better score " at the TV --(at Dempsey) because it was such a great pass it was obvious as soon as it was hit that it was an easy (for a pro) finish.

I watched most of the game and I thought that the us team was very poor in possession and spacing, It looked to me like they had not practiced together

I loved the fact that Dempsey didn't really celebrate his goal, but showed class by putting the attention to Donovan for that pass. Adu's pass to Donovan to set that up was really nice, too.

I hate Mexico.

Imagine how well it could work if Holden was out there. He is built for that roving MF position that Bedoya has been in over the past 2 games.

I have often thought that Adu would fill that roving roll rather well. He plays hard for the US, often too hard, putting way too much pressure on himself. He has the talent...

Adu is like Giovani Dos Santos. All the talent in the world but doesnt have the mental toughness or discipline to go through a club season.

That Panama defender (Henriquez) should hang his head. Instead of pressuring Donovan on the ball from Adu, he fell back and gave Donovan space, allowing him to send the through ball to Dempsey. In addition, if Henriquez steps up, Dempsey would have been offside. And to add insult to injury, Donovan's ball went through Henriquez' legs.

That pisses me off something fierce. First time I saw the flag related to the Tea Bags I figured it a loss for US Soccer.
