Wow! The grass isn't always greener on the other side. I would wager to say that the majority of the transfers weren't content with playing time. It should be noted that most probably any of the transfers opting to transfer to another DIV I SCHOOL will have to sit out a year. Also, a good number of these transfers will opt to go to a JC for an year and then be re-recruited.

Wonder if EMU has any interest in some of these transfers?

RE: Master List of D-I Hoops Transfers
Dennis, you are absolutely correct.

Most programs have some problems with players leaving for one reason or another.

It isn't an isolated problem which affects a few schools.

Didn't do a count but I'd guess the MAC might have their fair share of players leaving.

I didn't look for any kids originally from the state of MI or the metro areas of Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, Lansing, etc.

Nor did I look for players transferring from Big East schools.

If any of those transfers are from Chicago, they could end up at Robert Morris in Chicago, an NAIA school. They have a lot of D-1 transfers on their team. Humes from Toledo could end up back at Valpo, where his is from, but I have a feeling he will end up at one of the NAIA schools near Valpo.

Oh Dennis and Steve, I have news about possible MAC Exhibition games for Men's Basketball, but I have to wait until the contract is signed before I can officially spill the beans. I don't need it leaked out and the crap kicked out of me by friend RS 05-mafia
