There are a couple new coaches in the Valley, one replacing a guy who was fired (Jim Les) and one who moved on to greener pastures (Cuonzo Martin). Here's a little bit of new info on the new guys:

Geno Ford - Bradley

Geno previously coached at Kent State, winning the last two MAC championships as well as netting two MAC coach of the year awards. At 36 years of age, it appears the Braves landed a really good up-and-comer. This first year will be tough but I expect the Braves to makes serious improvement over the next few seasons.

Paul Lusk

Paul Lusk, 39, comes to the Bears from Matt Painter's staff at Purdue, following the footsteps of his predecessor, Cuonzo Martin. Paul's name may sound familiar to some as he played for the Salukis under Rich Herrin. This is Paul's first run at being a D1 head coach, but he does have one year of DIII head coaching experience, where he went 2-23 at Dubuque, Iowa (no, that's not a typo!). He walks into a much better situation than Geno Ford, who has nearly nothing to work with. The Bears lost a ton of senior leadership but Lusk can lean on Kyle Weems in year 1 of his tenure.
