Yeah, liberals are so proficient at running economies.
Did you reaad Know Nothing's post? He is one of you guys and complimenting Canada. Seems to me it can work fairly well if done corrrectly. Now back to sticking your head in the sand.
The strength of Canada's dollar is measured towards ours and shows how weak ours has become, shortbus. They're not borrowing out the ass and blowing money like whores in a Dollar Store.
Maybe but it seems to me their "tax and spend" policy seems to be working fairly well. I can't wait and see how this turns out for Canada. I already know how it is going to turn out. See Raygun and Bush administrations.
Please note that the Conservative Party has held a minority government since 2006. This electoral landslide is the Canadian peoples way of rewarding the Conservatives for their handling of the recession that started in 2008 and rejecting the ways of the once dominant liberal party.

Not true. No doubt the Conservative Party is to the left of the Republican party on the political perspective. But controlling the House of Reps only allows the Republicans to block Democratic legislation. They can't pass anything without the Senate/President. Harper on the other hand now has a majority Government and can drive through any legislation he wants, it's a only a matter of finding the votes within his own party.

A conservative from Toronto,Vancouver, or the Maritime Provinces is on par or to the left of Obama. Ill agree that those from the prairie provinces and from rural Ontario would be to the right of our current govt. Stephen Harper in his own politics is very similar to Obama.
