Rumored new Asst Coach for B Ball
Mike Brown from South Alabama. An former Ann Arbor resident with numerous coaching stops at Belleville HS, Schoolcraft CC, Motlow JC and So Alabama. A reputedly young coach with recruiting and coaching abilities. He is approximatley 32-33 yrs of age. Hope he's out recruiting if the rumor is true. Source: EMU Recruiting site.

Excellent move.

1). excellent resume for an EMU asst coach. Won't have any trouble finding the Convo.

2). coached with Murphy at Kent. EDIT: Replaced Rob at Kent.

Unlike some of the ***** on M-Dead, I really like the hire of Murphy.

Maybe he's our "Shaka Smart". Murphy just might have a high 'upside' as a head coach in the midwest.

Rip posted about his ability to coach post players. That is a very good skill for a HC to have.
