No need to apologize, Bit was being a bit pedantic in order to trumpet WVU's win over UGA.

It's reasonable to call the ND-LSU game the 2006 Sugar Bowl, since it was the culmination of the 2006 season. I mean, was this past year's Super Bowl the 2011 Super Bowl? Yes, it was played in 2011, but we don't call the Packers the 2011 NFL champs, we call them the 2010 NFL champs since that's when the bulk of the season leading up to the Super Bowl was played.

So call it the 2007 Sugar, the 2006 Sugar, or probably most accurately, the 2006-2007 Sugar Bowl. 04-cheers

quo, it's amazing how you want to be so precise on certain issues, and totally ignore precision altogether on other issues. It depends on whether or not precision proves some point you want to make or not. Precision isn't needed for this case, I guess...
