Attention Oakland Fans: Enjoy this and maybe next season because you can't afford to keep your players.

Attention misinformed Mariners fans:

The only key player Oakland does not have locked up after next year is Tejada and they intend to make him their one big salary player.

Like a Seattle fan has any room to talk about not being able to keep high priced talent around.

Giambi was a lifelong Yankee fan.

Tejada has not gone on record being a Yankee lover.

Have fun fighting with the Angels for second.

I didn't say he would sign with the Yankees, but I am guessing he will end up signing somewhere else. A team with a lot of cash. The Mets need a shortstop. So do the Mariners.

As a resident of the Bay Area, I would like to say "Let's go Oakland!" who today guaranteed themselves a postseason berth. Alex Rodriguez made a case for not being MVP (that should go to Tejada, who has been the lone consistent A's hitter and, despite the # of errors, is an outstanding fielder), taking an 0-fer and committing 2 errors, including the one that led to the fatal (4th) run scoring. Oh, and Go Giants too .
