Shall we have a favorite/dark horse thread?
Under the 'Goricki' I tossed out some more names floating out there in the blogosphere compliments of Jeff Goodman of Fox Sports.

I believe Gragg is now interviewing so anyone want to do a 'your pick as the favorite plus one dark horse or long shot' or out of the box pick.

I'm staying with Lickliter as my favorite candidate.

Based on this paragraph I'm willing to make Rob Murphy as my long shot.

He might have been runner up to Senderoff at Kent and apparently a very strong recruiter (BTW, many of the Kent candidates have been mentioned as EMU candidates)

http://blog.syracuse.com/orangebasketbal...phy_1.html

"Kent State assistant Rob Senderoff, who was named the interim head coach after Ford’s departure, is a favorite to get the job. Xavier assistant Pat Kelsey, Ohio State assistant Jeff Boals and Michigan State assistant Dwayne Stephens and Indiana-Purdue/Fort Wayne head coach Dane Fife have also reportedly interview at Kent State."

RE: Shall we have a favorite/dark horse thread?
I might add the reason, primarily, I choose Murphy as my 'long shot' candidate is that he is a 'new name'.

Presumably 'new names' are more likely to be serious candidates then names floating longer ago.

One name I heard long time ago as a possible candidate, Brian Dutcher, SDSU assoc HC, has never been mentioned this month at all.
