So Nova cant fill more seats and the BE wants more seats
Sounds pretty simple to me....Nova isnt D-1 football material, which is part of the reason they dont have a larger stadium as it is.

Its like trying to fit a round peg in a square hole. Its just not going to work.

So, my question is this....how is this going to play out? Nova comes back with another offer and gets shot down, creating animosity between the football and basketball members? Is Nova going to bow out and tell their fan base that the study just didnt work out? Seems like they were ready to move forward.

Here's what we know...the BE football members dont want to play in a 18,000 or 30,000 seat soccer stadium in Philly, no matter how nice it is, its just not big enough for the long term. The Phillies are apparently not interested in renting their place out until after baseball season is over (which in the Phillies case can take awhile).

We also know that Nova needs to do something by May 31 to expedite turning D-1.

We also know that the BE office has approval to move to 10 football playing members.

We also know that the Big East Spring meetings are coming up in May.

This all seems to be coming to a head and the Nova push seems to make this situation worse....

Nice analysis. I think you hit the nail on the head. I know for a fact that a school in Greenville, NC has the support of WVU. Good luck!
