If VU says yes
If VU says yes they, the Big East and everyone on this board knows they aren't ready and won't be for some time. Stadium, support facilities and all of the infrastructue needs to be developed. The year 2014 seems possible. The question then is 10 and done? Does this make any sense whatsoever? Maybe, maybe not. Is this good for the Big East? I for one see TCU as one step forward and VU as one step back. More attractive teams will have to be added or the conference will become a laughing stock.

RE: If VU says yes
The plan has always been 2014 for them.
No evidence from presidents more than 10 fb deisred.
My take is there is a better chance of staying at 9 if nova doesn't pan out.

If that were the case they would not have been talking to other candidates....

They want to be prepared for all the possible scenarios, but I think Tiger-Paul's comment makes a lot of sense.

Anyway, it certainly appears from the outside as if Villanova really is going to do this. So it won't be a matter of staying at 9 or not, but a matter of staying at 10 or not. I think the BE will stay at 10 for a while. The needs of the in-conference football schedule would be completely satisfied...
