$500 handshakes from all of the big time college football schools, what's new about this? Sport cars, suitcases full of money, it's way back since the 60's and it's old.

Definitely goes back to the 60's. My Grandpa told me a story about Alabama sending a brand new lawn mower to Greenbow Alabama to lock down the services of some local kid named Forrest Gump.
