Amos Zereoue deals with personal tragedy
The Times WV's Bob Hertzel writes a story about a former Mountaineer and all around great person's intimate association with one of the world's biggest trajedies. But news of the events in Rowanda hasn't gotten much publicity due to the entire world seeming to go insane at once...

I hate to see this kind of thing taking place in Rwanda again. It is very sad. I didnt know that Zeroeue was Rwandan much less even from Africa. He has a cool name though. I hope things turn out well for him, but it doesnt seem so at this point.

The "rebels" are the army of the recently elected President, Alassane Outtara, whose election has been certified by Ivory Coast's own Election Commission and international observers, including the United Nations.

The incumbent President, Laurent Gbagbo, refused to honor the election results. A civil war was the result. His soldiers have been massacring many of his own citizens.

Most likely, both sides have committed atrocities.

It looks like the end is near for Gbagbo.
