Report: Nate Miles would talk to NCAA
NEW YORK -- Nate Miles is open to talking to the NCAA about his recruitment by Connecticut, and the former prep star told The New York Times that Huskies coach Jim Calhoun knew he received improper benefits from a former team manager.
Connecticut, which faces Kentucky in the Final Four on Saturday, was penalized by the NCAA in February for recruiting violations involving Miles and other infractions. Calhoun was cited by the NCAA for failing to create an atmosphere of compliance within the program and suspended for the first three Big East games of the 2011-12 season

Miles is pathetic. Want proof?
He won't talk to the media without charging money first. He's a pathetic attention bleep and needs to fizzle away.

The kid is flat broke and he needs money. He is charging for interviews LOL.
UCONN released official statement on this.
http://blogs.courant.com/uconn_mens_bask...te-mi.html
Here is the kicker: Quote:STATEMENT FROM SCOTT TOMPSETT,
LAWYER REPRESENTING JIM CALHOUN
Coach Calhoun denies any claim that he knew that Nate Miles was receiving impermissible benefits. Moreover, Nate Miles submitted a signed statement to the NCAA last year that contradicts his current story. Coach Calhoun cooperated fully with the NCAA's investigation and considers this matter closed.
Calhoun's statement:
Quote:Jim Calhoun's response in a press conference Friday when asked about Nate Miles' recent comments in Slam Magazine ...
"I put a statement out, the university put a statement out, that said I accepted all responsibility as the head coach. I said my personal and private feelings would not be discussed, and are not going to be discussed. If anybody wants to drag up an experience that happened two years ago, bring it back up, that's their choice. I'm going forward because I'm going forward with my life.
"Right now I'm getting ready for Kentucky. I'm watching my grandchildren do things. I'm going forward with my life. I can't control what other people say. I know who I am, what I am, I'm very comfortable with that. I'm comfortable with my university, how they handled it, how the NCAA handled it. I didn't say I agreed with everything. But I was in charge of the program, the program made mistakes, and I think everybody had their chance to speak over a two-year period.
"When it was adjudicated, it was adjudicated, and it's over as far as I'm concerned."
Who do you believe? Why is this kid surfacing all suddenly? He never played a minute for UCONN. In addition, NCAA did their investigation and dished out their result already. Why is media pulling this stuff out now again?
Is it possible Kentucky boosters paid this kid to talk now to distract UCONN?

Got to agree with you guys on this. He something went down he should have said something back then.
The only thing you should worry about is if he has some actual proof, ie if he has a paper trail.
