“You’ve got to have a superstar,” Foley said. That is a telling thing for the men next season.

I don't see any superstar anywhere on the women's team for next year either.

A couple of the incoming freshmen have the possibility of filling that role. Don't be surprised if you see several freshmen starting next season. This might be Foley's best recruiting class. Remember. None of the seniors, including Chastity was a projected superstar when they arrived. Going to the NCAA two years in a row can't hurt recruiting. That's for sure.

If they pan out, Gault, Cobbins, and Payton sound to have promising careers. Since I been following the ladies team, there is always someone that returns that turns out to be a difference maker. Remember Reed and Butler where not world beaters their freshman seasons. In fact Butler didn't really see the court until late in her sophmore year.

Seniors leave floor in silence.
Probably a first for Chastity!

I expect having a freshman or two starting, more or less as a "have to" case. I'm sure most of the new recruits are good players. Whether or not there are any superstars in that group remains to be seen. You don't often see any freshman superstars. Regardless of how good they are supposed to be, they've still got to prove they can do it here. As someone has posted earlier, the new recruits are small. You've need to have some size to be really good. The lack size was part of our problem with this team the past two years. Great competitors, and very good basketball players, but didn't rebound well.
