Unique sell-out
Kimbel Arena, home to Coastal Carolina, lists a seating capacity of 1039. Their average home attendance this season was 1022.

Big time arenas in that league. I think Ashville seat 1015.

I'm thinking you can get as much of a home court advantage in a tiny sold-out gym as you can in a big one.

No doubt. Ours is certainly on the small end for DI schools. But if we could fill it up, it would be as loud and as tough a place to play as anywhere.

We might get a sell out in one of those arenas sometime.

I don't think ours is so small. Large as Gonzagas and five times larger than Coastal Carolina, and I'll bet if you check on some of those pretty good schools up East, you'll find they have arenas around 2500. Ours is plenty large to have a winning program, and even compete nationally if we could get the right recruits in. Maybe we're on the right track now.
