Is this Wright Waters?

Your options are all football members, meaning that should one or more of these members join then it kinda leaves UALR out in the cold. Either we add a 12th team that doesn't play football like Oral Roberts, or we add a 12th team that does play football, which would give us 11 in football, which would force us to then take another team to get to 12. Then we would have 12 in football and 13 in basketball, which is doable, but do we really want that?

[The other option is two add a basketball member in addition to the 12 football members. Therefore, by your preference of Oral Roberts, the Sun Belt is rolling at 14 member schools. Is ORU a better fit than Denver or does the travel suck just as bad for non football sports?

Oral Roberts isn't a preference, they were just the first non-FB school I thought of. And travel to Tulsa, as opposed to Denver, would save each Sun Belt member about 700 miles ONE WAY... so round trip you would save almost 1400 miles.

It is not in the interest of the Sun Belt to expand by adding any FCS program. 4 of these choices should be removed from the poll. USA is already a Sun Belt member. I'm fine with them, but under no circumstances should we even be considering other FCS programs. This is why the Sun Belt has a reputation as a gateway conference, and consistently ranks at the bottom of all FBS conferences. Now, as we prepare to pass the WAC, and challenge the MAC, it seems like some of you are ready to knock us back to the bottom.

If we expand, lets focus on schools that have a history in FBS football, and the Sun Belt (LA Tech & NMSU). I'm not interested in adding schools based on their potential. I'm interested in seeing the current Sun Belt programs live up to their potential, especially North Texas.

And yes I have been known to be assinine at times. We are not going to be 12 just to be 12. We are going to be twelve in order to be Greater than we are now.

Greater exposure gains Greater talent gains Greater opportunities. We all agree the Sun Belt is great but we can be Greater. GO SUN BELT!

An established FBS member within the existing footprint, which there aren't many of available to us. I didn't say they get my heart racing, or that I want them in tomorrow. I just said they're the only one that moves my interest meter at all currently.
