First Kick
So I'm sure you don't see all the commercials and hype for this in Memphis, but this is a big deal in Seattle. Anybody watching? I'll be there!

It's quality of the players is getting better and better. Also our (Seattle) atmosphere is comparable to any big club in Europe.

If we had a team in the South like in Atlanta or maybe even Nashville, I bet we could support a franchise. Towns like Birmingham, Memphis, Louisville and Charlotte are actually very soccer-supportive. Numerous polls last year proved that fans in those cities really wanted to host the World Cup first round!

I became a fan just because my kids played the game. Today, I enjoy a good MLS game when Seattle, LA or Houston are playing (though the orange unis really hurt my eyes!).

Agreed, TigerTitan. I watch the MLS b/c (1) it's soccer and (2) I don't have to wake up early to see it. But I don't really have a favorite team. Memphis is just not that close to any team. I just always hope the games are close.
