Any chance at Darshawn McClellan?
McClellan was scheduled to be a senior at Vandy this year. He has some starting experience early in his career. Listed at 6-7 229. He can handle and shoot. Not an explosive athlete though. He middle of the pack for sure in that regard, which is what ended up limiting his minutes at Vandy.

Anyway, the situation is that he redshirted this year, his senior year. Word on the street is that he asked to redshirt, as he knew he'd have limited PT this season. Rumor is that he then transfers for his senior year to a school with a masters program not offered at Vandy, thus gaining instant eligibiity at that school. Stallings and Byrd are friends, but McClellan is from Fresno, CA. We lose two SF in House and Campbell, but that is all we lose.

Any chance he lands on a stacked Belmont team that could make another NCAA run? He'd definitely play. He's strong, can defend, dribble, pass, and shoot. Anyone heard anything? Maybe he heads back west?
