RE: Latest AP poll
The disparity between the coaches poll, and that of the writers who cover the games, shows just how little the coaches follow their own sport outside of their conference...

The league has never had 9 teams ranked after the last week of regular season games before. Its been a great year.

What would be great is if someone would win the whole f'n thing. Rankings = meaningless when you got a sport that crowns an actual on-field/court champion. Been a while since someone here won one.

Even better would be an all-BEast Final Four. That's never been done by anyone...

RE: Latest AP poll
How in the heck is Georgetown ranked above UC?

Worse record? Check.

Finished behind them in the BE? Check?

GT is in a tailspin and UC is counting scalps the last few weeks? Check.

GT got absoultely drubbed by UC 2X in the last 10 days? Check and Check.

Yep. Georgetown deserves to be at least 3 spots ahead of the Bearcats this week.

Did have 5 of the final 8 a couple of years ago. There are multiple Big East teams capable of going very deep this year.
