Great honor for Solo. We need him and Matt to rebound from their worst game of the season (UNT) and we'll beat USA, and then get our chance at revenge against the Woofs.

I seem to recall that Derek Fisher was a two time MVP. I don't know if that was an earlier version of the POY or not.

Was Muntrelle after Stan Blackmon?

How did Stan get in this conversation?

LITTLE ROCK - UALR senior Solomon Bozeman became the third player in school history to receive Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year honors on Thursday, as voted on by the league's coaches and media members. Bozeman, who also received First Team All-Sun Belt accolades, joins former UALR standouts Derek Fisher (1995-96) and Muntrelle Dobbins (1996-97) as the only Trojans to receive the Sun Belt Player of the Year award.

Is that story correct? I could have sworn that Stan got POY one year.

If he did, I guess I slept through that season.

I guess he didn't, but he had an outstanding senior season for us. Kibi sort of reminds me of him. If he could have that kind of season next year, we'll do allright.

When you stop to think about it, when a player shoots 47.2% from the arc, makes 173 FTs and is only two short of leading the team in assists even though he is not the point guard, those are some pretty impressive state.
