How?
How does Memphis sweep UAB and USM but lose to sucktastic teams like SMU, Rice, and ECU?

Young and inexperienced
And they aren't sucktastic. They are actually pretty good (Rice is by far the worst of the 3) but SMU and ECU both show signs of excellence

RE: How?
I'm glad were not included in the sucktastic teams lol.
ECU and USM winning helps out the Miners RPI wise.

RE: How?
Last year's team had less talent but more heart. At this point, I hope we are lucky enough to get selected for the NIT.

I'm done with the Tigers this year. They've given up, so why should I stick around?

Screw the NIT. Let them play in the Bluff City Classic and be done with it.

In that case, will you just throw in the towel against Tulane

What does that make memphis? You guys get crapped on in football and now in basketball. Take it like a man and quit your bitchin'.

Yeah just throw in the towel vs the Wave. We could use the "W".

RE: How?
Yeah, we lost to a $hitty team tonight. At the end of the year, you will still be a $hitty team and you will be one the next year and the year after that.
A loss to ECU is like a loss to a D2 team.

RE: How?
Pastner probably reads all your posts and is embarrassed. So he throws the rest of us a bone every now and then.
In all seriousness, it's two things. Primarily, CUSA has gotten better across the board. Secondly, and I know this is a sore subject but it has to be mentioned in any serious conversation, Pastner is not as good as your previous coach. Not yet, at least. You're still expecting a #1 seed in the NCAA's every year.
On a side note, I expect to see about a hundred posts from StillJonesing about this. At least he isn't talking about how much of a disgrace he thinks the UCF football program is.

You lost because you are classless!!!! Your coach gets a T and a really nice shot of your little crap players saying F you repeatedly to the ECU fans.
You are now irrelevant in EVERYTHING!!!

So what does that say about you, losing to a "D2" team.
Get over it dude, Memphis is not very good at basketball this year, and your highly touted freshman could just as easly go nuts up as be world beaters....
Welcome back to mediocrity that is the life of a mid-major...Calipari gave you guys cred, but he is a dirty cheater, you did good to rid yourself of him...but now you have to come to the realization that you are nothing more than a mid major that will fight tooth and nail with your fellow conference mates to win a game..
Enjoy!!!!
