Big Big Game
Both Ball State and WMU are hot teams coming into this showdown at UA. Ball State has won 3 straight including that huge comeback in the 2nd half at the Chimps. Meanwhile WMU is arguably the hottest team in the MAC if Akron loses tonight to Ohio. And we are coming off a remarkable road win at Eastern Michigan in which we played about as well as we can.
Through the years the UA has not been kind to the Cardinals, and I hope this continues tomorrow. This game is the game that we have been fighting hard for all year. To be in this position is very special for these young men we call the Broncos. They have represented us well, except for a few horrendous lapses earlier this year. But since the last and perhaps biggest lapse in Toledo this team has stepped up and become one of the toughest teams in the MAC, and I believe a team that no one (not even Akron!) will want to see in the Q.
Maybe we will have an unsung hero step up tomorrow, and maybe it will be Brandon Pokely. There would be no better time than tomorrow for this young man to put it out there and be the shooter everyone knows he can be. He can bury a lot of the past with 4 or 5 big buckets in the UA in the biggest game of the year.
Go hard Broncos.

I remember it was BSU that broke our 25(?) game home win streak all those years ago, lets knock them out of the MAC West lead as repayment.

Yeah TB I believe we had the longest home win streak in the country at the time.
We're still pretty tough, shoulda had Kent this year. That was a heck of a game.

RE: Big Big Game
I remember UA was ROCKING. It was PACKED and the floor was shaking. We had just made a run and had some serious MO. Then, came the ill-fated media timeout. Over the speakers came the soothing sound of (edit, see BBF comment below: Discoverrrr...The Teacher Centerrrrr)for a promotion of some little kids riding tricycles or something. KILLED the atmosphere, KILLED the mo, and altered the trajectory of the basketball program. I don't think we've been the same since.

Second longest at the time, I believe it was Wisconsin at 30+ with the longest.

Yes, but I haven't seen their presence at UA for a few years now...
