RE: Who's it going to be?
I would expect D. Ward to take on the role of senior leader next year, he has certainly been a spark that got this team going this season and I think the team will look to him and Flen for leadership. In terms of firing up a practice session, Dan Loney's work ethic might inspire others

The suprise to me is that Ed Thomas is leaving the program... Does that free up another scholarship for us? Is there anyone in the pipeline?

Ward and Whitfield seem more of the quiet lead by example guys. I expect Douglas to be the most vocal of the three.

No change in the scholarship situation as Ed Thomas is a walkon.

The pipeline is quite impressive with commitments, including the Indiana scoring machine.

RE: Who's it going to be?
I voted for D Ward, although not knowing any of these guys and how vocal or quiet they are, it is a crap shoot. Somebody will emerge as a vocal practice leader and I'm guessing it will be somebody who has been in the program for 3 or 4 years.

I've gotta give Alex some props. A walk-on who not improved himself and his game and contributed leadership, all while tackling a challenging academic major.

Way to go, Alex! Savor the moment Wednesday night and then go out and play the game of your life and 05-mafia beat BSU.
