LRTrojan needs to answer this one. Obviously you aren't looking through the same looking glass.

Just trying to add a little humor once in awhile. We tend to take things a little too seriously at times, so a little fun helps.

Hey. He was the Will Neighbour of his recruiting class. The savior. That tall shooting guard we needed so badly. You were bamboozled just like the rest of us. It's things like that that cause LRTrojan to always say he's going to wait until they get here and play in some games before he's going to annoint them. Probably a good lesson for all of us. I wish Nick could have worked out. He was a fun guy and I enjoyed getting to know him. I hope he does well where he is.

All I know about him is he doesn't like it at Texas Tech. But I read that on a message board somewhere.

He could always shoot but he was the only son of a former major league baseball player with big sisters who kind of spoiled him. I have been around him quite a bit the last couple of years and he has matured and grown. He is strong and physical, he can dunk easily with authority, he is a good shooter. He oozes confidence, college can strip that from you quickly, but he is only a junior I am fairly confident. He scores easily against the Robinson's and the Camden Fairview's that are athletic and play pretty good man defense. In addition to being strong around the basket and athletic he has really turned into a nice young man that is pleasant to be around and is always polite and cordial. Lighting up Bald Knob for 30 doesn't translate into diddly in college but I think he has a good chance of being a meaningful player at the next level. His dad was very athletic and played everything at Parkview; if he is as tough as his dad, he can get it done, I promise. I hope he does well.

Is uca in on him?

We need this kid. He would be fine here or at UCA.

Don't know where you get that. I've been preaching the same line for about five or six years. Doc doesn't stay on the same course on two straight posts.

Maybe he was referring to our feeble attempts at humor Bob. Or at least mine. We do have a good time sort of ribbing each other from time to time. It's all good fun. If we can't win championships, we can at least enjoy a good laugh once in awhile. Keep the faith!04-cheers

This is a very old post. Rush doesn't still read the board and my joke was three years ago.

Have no idea whether he reads board or not. I assume he buys season tickets, because he sits in the same seats when he does show up. Although I've never met him, but what I've heard about him is that he's a nice guy, and since they gave his boy an opportunity to play, I'd guess he'll probably keep buying his tickets. Part time ghost, but does come sometime.

Could have been, but yours is occassionally funny. Scotto was our best bet for humor. But with only a handful of posters, if there wasn't a joke or two thrown in, and the coaching situation was something to talk about, there wouldn't be ten posts a week on here this time of year.
