Basketball Roster
Who was the kid sitting on the bench next to LJ Frazier in the sweatsuit? Not Skipper, he was sitting further down the bench. Is there a transfer that we are not aware of?

RE: Basketball Roster
He's been with the team all year.
Was suited up for the Green and White game, but didn't play.
I knew his name, but have forgotten it.

I posed the same Question after the Buffalo game and was told the kid was a walk on for Dearborn Robichaud HS. I doubt he would help this program even with as much help that is needed.
P.S. His name escapes me.

All of their PG's seem to lack quickness, poor defensively and not a lot of penetration
Doubt L.J WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR[/b]

SUPERFAN - QUESTION ON THE PG POSITION:
YOU SEEM TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HAVE WATCHED THE B BALL TEAM PLAY PROBABLY MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE ON THIS BOARD. IN YOUR OBSERVATIONS THIS PAST SEASON, DO YOU THINK THAT PG IS A MAJOR PROBLEM ON THIS TEAM? WHO WILL PLAY THE POINT NEXT SEASON? PERSONALLY, I THINK WE PROBABLY NEED A NEW ONE!
YOUR COMMENTS ON THE COACHING SITUATION WOULD ALSO BE APPRECIATED.
HAPPY HOOPS

Wow, talk about a question with an obvious answer.
How about this one:
Will Mayor Bing invite Glenn Beck to city hall to receive the key to the city?

In my humble opinion there are no D1 starting players on this team. As far as the coach goes, I hope can land another job soon. I had such high hopes.

BBOW is legit D1 but seems to take too many shots that he shouldn't. Not necessarily his foult though when he doesn't have a strong supporting cast.

Sorry I was reffering to what we will have next year. BBOW is a starting D1 player.

RE: Basketball Roster
Superfan, any comments on new recruits coming in? Hopefully no more JUCO's.
I understand there have been a nu mber of recruits at our recent games, mostly out state kids. Would hope that EMU would bring in a kid or two that can play as freshman becuase it in all probablity wil be a rebuilding year.
Depending on what happens in the next couple of weeks, could be a lot of turnover on the current roster.

Really not much motivation to think about hoops recruiting until the coaching situation is settled. Gragg needs to either change coaches or give Rams a vote of confidence.

My point, exactly.
IF Ramsey and other coaches are released, then the whole program essentially hibernates until a new staff is in place.
I'd assume Gragg would pick one coach (maybe Andy Moore?) and ask that he stay on longer to run the program on a short term basis until a new HC is selected.
If I remember correctly (and it has been a while) I believe coaches contracts expire March 31.
I forget if the asst coaches contracts are one year or two or either one or two depending on the assistant coach.
