When I saw the posts from others about how horrible our basketball program is I thought to myself...
"I'm surprised this kind of thing doesn't happen more often."
Not because of the state of our basketball team, but because when
it comes to talking sports people can and often times do get really
nasty. Especially on the web.

So I just wanted to drop a note to say that I appreciate the fact that
this board is extremely friendly and that when things do get out of line people do address it quickly and appropriately. I don't know who the Georgia Tech Swagger is, or whatever the screen name is, but I was really surprised when he stepped in and thought it was great to see that kind of presence from people who manage the site.

So yeah...

He's the guy who owns/runs/maintains/polices/is NCAABBS.

To see him that involved is encouraging. Lets me know people take things seriously around here.

I don't think that M-Live is that bad. But....

Yeah. Frankly I'm surprised that more EMU fans do not consistently give into fits of rage, considering how long our athletics have been operated so poorly.

It almost gives you faith in humanity.
