A couple of questions.........
For anyone who was at the Eastern game, how was the ceremony for Earl Boykins????? And was there any kind of crowd to appreciate the retiring of his jersey?????? God, that barn must be a dreadful place to play in with a zillion empty seats.... Great, Great win today for our Broncos!!!!!!!!!! I really have to laugh over some gormer on Chips Illustrated outling how they could win out and take the MAC West....Ya just can't make this kinda stuff up for pure entertainment value..... He had them winning 5 straight and us losing 4 out of 5...... I'm going out on a limb here and thinkin that it ain't ever gonna happen this year anyway..

RE: A couple of questions.........
Johnny, the crowd at EMU today was decent for the Earl Boykins ceremony. I can't give you the exact figure, but there were four to five times the normal crowd in attendance. They did a special where you would get a ticket, a soda pop and a hot dog for $3.00. They also had a group of scouts.

The Bronco basketball team made sure that they crowd noise did not interfere with the game. Earl was given a royal treatment, and everyone, even us Bronco fans in attendance gave him a standing ovation. I'm was thinking that he is the last MAC player that is still playing in the NBA, but I forgot about the kid from the school up north. It was the most thrilling experience I've had in the Convo Center however. I sorted of hated to leave the place.

I'll see all of you on Wednesday, we need to fill University Arena and give our Broncos the support they have earned this season.

Always proud to be a Bronco.

Practically standing room only by EMU standards.
