I'm glad we got him. He is royalty in this town. The city went nuts when it was announced he was coming home.

Many USC & Iowa St fans follow UTEP because of him too. Also, some Southern Miss folks see him as one of theirs cuz he lived there (his mom still does).

I love Coach Floyd's passion for the game. The man stands up for his team against the tyranny dressed in a zebra's clothes. He cares not what idiots think of him. Why should he? The man has pride...Miner Pride...and he let it be shown for all to see on Wednesday night. He's a disciple of one of the greatest coaches in NCAA history, and seeing his demeanor at courtside conjures up many fond memories. Miners fans could not be happier and more pleased to have Tim Floyd back home. He's a winner in all aspects of the term, and he'll keep UTEP in it's prominent rightful place at the top of this conference for years to come.

I have to admit, while losing sucked, Floyd was very reminiscent of Haskins. I couldn't stop smiling. Tomorrow's gonna be great.
