DePaul ending the losing streak tonight?
25 straight losses in conference and 29 straight L's on the road. The Demons lead 52-39 over the Friars however with 14 minutes left.

This was a tight game over the last 7 minutes but DePaul hit free throws and held on 79-76 to end the streaks. It's their first Big East win in 393 days! You could tell how much the win meant to the Blue Demon players, that's a big win for their spirits.

Thank God! I was convinced WE were going to be the team to re-break their cherry in a couple of weeks.

How many days until kickoff?

Unfortunately for DePaul, it was Providence they defeated, which is no great victory. The Friars aren't exactly doing great this season. But a win is a win, especially when you haven't experienced one in conference for over a year...

Could DePaul be starting a new streak? Leading Nova at the half! They did play louisville, west va and cincy tough in close losses. We'll see if they can pull the "big win" today.
