Thanks Cards fans. If we had anywhere near that effort on Sunday during the first 30 minutes (not just the final 10) we'd have had no problem at all with the Johnnies.

C'est le vie... just need to keep it up over the rest of our games.

Thats the thing that baffles us. You have great games against your two major rivals: Xavier and Louisville, and play uninspired and lackadaisical in two winnable home games (St. Johns and WVU). Hopefully the Bearcats can get it together in the last part of the season and get the Big East that 9th team!
I wonder how much of that is due to Gates inconsistent play. He was a beast last night. But was pretty much a non factor against WVU...

It has a ton to do with it. The best three games Yancy Gates has played this year are Xavier, @ St. Johns, and last night vs. Louisville...

And what do you know? Those are UC's three biggest wins so far.
