I have been silenced by memphistigers.org. I am a positive Tiger fan that was just starting to "get it". My wife told me that I made such a fool of myself by being "out of the loop". I felt ashamed. I made it my mission to practice posting and found that I have a knack or hiddden talent for it. When I read a thread that I wanted to post on, I could feel a certain energy about it. I would abruptly proceed to the bottom of the page and start typing in the quick reply box. It felt so ... right. I mean it felt like I was getting a grasp and then when I hit the "Post Reply" button it told me once again that I was not allowed to access this page. However, as they say, practice makes perfect and I have been working hard. Maybe one day I will be able to ...
I just don't understand how you expect everyone on our site to act right when the mods themselves have no accountability or feedback. They just delete threads, posts, and ban people with no just cause or explanation. Also, do we really need TEN mods for one board (memphistigers.org)? Since we have so many, the least they could do is be held more accountable for their unjust and double standards. The only justification usually falls under the "this is a private messageboard" and "it's not a right so leave if you don't like the way we do things.". Might as well just say "we can do what we want without recourse so f**k you". At least that one isn't a lie.

Neither one of those statements is a lie.

No, not technically, however, people that resort to that type of justification have no other means to justify their actions. Kind of like Obama just saying "I did bc I'm the President"

As I've known it, mods are accountable to the Admins, and as long as I've been on this board, the Admins have never been focused on running off people just cause they don't like them or don't want to play by some random, arbitrary rules. I don't know how bad it is on some of the outlying boards, but if there's legitimate concerns, they've always seemed to take care of them in a reasonable matter. Ultimately though, this place is dictated by those who put all the work, time, and money into maintaining this site. It may be free to post here, but your contributions as a poster ultimately can't touch the work some of these guys do to keep it free and running.

1) Reputation manipulating will not be tolerated. Multiple reputations are intended to allow for people to alter reputation on a per post basis. If you artificially inflate your own reputation or others ... or likewise artificially lower your own reputation or others, the following actions will be taken:
1st Offense: +10% Warning
2nd Offense: +10% Warning, your reputation is deducted at the sole discretion of the mods/admins
3rd Offense: +20% Warning, and all reputations you have ever made are purged from the system
Yes, this includes "reputation whoring", where you exchange reputation points just to inflate each others. If you have a reputation which needs cleaning up because it has been abused prior to these AUP changes, send a PM to georgia_tech_swagger.
So... how are you moderating this? Someone you've already cleaned up is getting +2 by the same guy over and over again. I'll PM you GTS

I have sent several pms and posted about this many times. I have been stripped of my voice on memphistigers.org and this in unfair and a double standard. I want you to know that I resent this. Just goes to show that what people say and what people do can quite often be two totally different things even opposite sides of the coin. Thanks for standing by your word and being the bigger person.
