3 of them are at home and I would take a split on the road, so let’s take a look.

WKU here: I watched them play at Memphis and their guard play was really bad. I have watched them play on TV too and their guard play was bad. Don’t think they have any more talent than we do and I think we have home court and a lot more heart, so I am counting that as a win.

MTU here: 7 -3 in the last 10, so they are hot but Steve gets the better of Kermit most years. I take us at home. They will have to travel from Troy and their bigs don’t look that good on paper.

USA/ASU road swing: We go to USA all the way up to ASU. That is a hard one. We need to split those games and I guess USA is our chance. We stand a good chance of winning that game and hopefully we ride the wave into ASU.

UNT here: Steve gets the better of Johnny just about every year and the wheels have come off a little at UNT.

I will settle for 3-2 but think we could go 4-1 over the last 5. Steve always has his kids playing their best this time of year.

Problem with even your optimistic scenario is that a loss to ASU and we probably don't get a bye with the way ULL is playing. Can't believe they swept in Florida this week-I was sure they would lose, at least, one. We had them beat until a foul with less than a second left. If we don't get a bye, that will be the reason. Actually, if we finish 10-6, the bye will come down to a tie-breaker- we lose out to ASU if they beat us again. Don't know how it would pan out if we tie Denver or ULL. UNT would get the tie-breaker if they beat us again and if we beat them they'll have at least 7 losses. Seems likely that the bye will come down to a tie-breaker- which stinks, unless of course it comes out in our favor.
