Georgetown 69 Marquette 60
Nice to see the Hoyas rally from down 4 at the half to upend Marquette at the Verizon Center. Ugly game, really, with poor shooting by both teams (a ton of threes were tossed up and barely any went in). Even more than the win, i hope Austin Freeman is OK, he limped off early on.

Hoyas notch their 20th win of the season, likely to move into the Top 10 tomorrow in the polls. 04-rock

On the other hand, Marquette falls to 15-10, 6-6 in the conference. They are now, at best, a bubble-team for the NCAA tournament. A win today would have been huge for them, but no dice ...

Marquette let one slip away on the road that they should have had. But they fell apart at the end of the game, and the Hoyas went on a roll to put it away. It was a great game for TV, and a good win for Georgetown...

Congrats to the Hoyas... 04-cheers

St. John's moves toward the good side of the bubble, Cincy and Marquette move toward the wrong side. The standings are starting to reflect that, too.
