Has UALR as a 1.5 point favorite. I guess they don't expect us to hit 17 three pointers again, either. Monroe has 4 guys averaging 10.8 points a game or above. We have one player averaging double figures. I guess what worries me the most is that teams don't like being embarrassed. Examples this year include our second game against ORU and ASU's second game against Denver. Monroe also layed an egg at home against ASU Thursday, after losing by only one in Jonesboro a couple of weeks ago. They'll be ready to play tonight. I assume we will, as well. Should be an interesting game.

ULM is terrible. We should blow these guys out of the gym. They've won ONE conference game; let's make sure they don't get the second one tonight.

No doubt they're bad. We should win. But that's why they play the game. They won at USA and lost by one point at ASU. Not sure we will fare as well at those two venues. They play well and we don't, there's no doubt they win. There's just not that much difference between any teams in the Belt this year. If we play well, we should win- unless they hit 17 threes.

What's the pyscho-babble term for when someone hedges one's bet..? Laymen's term is "Told-You-So-ism".

I always hedge my bets on sports. That's why I never put money on a game- just too unpredictable. I'm 2-2 on the road this year. Just hope I move over .500 tonight. I guess I've seen all our road wins, not counting neutral court.

I need to start doing that. I'd always be right. If we win, it's "yeah they were pretty bad". If we lose, it's "I told you so".

I can nearly guarantee that if Solo, Matt, Alex, Chucky, Kibi, and Marlo played thirty minutes a game, we'd have at least three, maybe four players in double figures.

I predict we lose. I hope I'm wrong. That's my gut feeling though.

Thankfully your gut was wrong. Don't feel bad. My gut betrays me quite often when it comes to predicting how our team will do. What does your gut say about Western and Middle?

I said early on that we were underestimating Western. With the three really good players they had back, with any help from the other two positions, they had to be good. Obviously they're beginning to peak at the right time. And ULL is obviously coming on. This is shaping up as a great tournament. And with the way Marlo has played in the last two games, I'm feeling a little better about ouir chances.
