cliff notes
* Very unlikely that there will be a change at OC. In the unlikely event of a change here, the only option being considered is Zampese.
* Mike Brown doesn't want to make a change at OC because he wants to honor the true friendship between Bratowski and himself.
* Mike Brown is aware of the criticism from the fans, the players, the media, and other NFL organizations, but he thinks they are wrong and don't understand his approach.
* We will probably try to draft WR A.J. Green at #4.
* An indoor practice facility is not being discussed.
* Mike has no plans whatsoever to relinquish control and plans on running the organization well into his 80's.
* The scouting department, with the exception of Tobin, is just a bunch of Mike Brown's cronies that he tells who to look at and how much time to spend on them.
* The Bengals are preparing for a 10-20% drop-off in season ticket renewals/purchases and luxury boxes next year but expect that the fans will come back eventually. Mike Brown is not concerned.
* Pretty much all the players think the organization is horrible. Mike Brown passed David Fulcher in the hallway and didn't know who he was.
There was some minor good news, but unfortunately none of it will make any impact in the short term:
* Unlike Mike Brown, Katie and Troy Blackburn are worried about the fan backlash.
* Katie Blackburn plans to modernize the Bengals operations when Mike Brown passes control to her, with at least the discussion of a football operations person (not necessarily a GM) being hired. They wanted to have comparable operations to the Steelers and Ravens.
* Bratowski's contract runs through 2011, but there have been no talks of an extension.
* Mike Brown got such a sweet deal in Cincinnati that he has no plans on moving the team.
