If they're morons they would have never have invited TCU.

I'm getting a kick out of the people who think this is the same old Big East management, this is a completely different Big East leadership and mindset. Some of you are going to be pleased, some of you are going to be disappointed. But those of you who think the Big East is dumb are going to be very surprised. I don't have a ton of "inside info" or anything special like that, but some of the people who have talked to me have told me, or I have seen them from other "insiders" things and they're coming to fruition, which has shocked me. Let me put it this way, if the Big East were a "broken clock" expansion wouldn't be in full gear right now.

I get even a bigger kick out of fans from schools outside of the Big East who want to complain about BE management but also are praying that same management invites them into this mis-managed league. 03-lmfao

Cheers,
Neil

Or maybe the clock is right and the people who look at it can't tell time. 03-wink

If the clock has no hands, it doesn't say sh!t - unless, of course, it's digital. But we weren't discussing digital clocks...

Believe most would agree that the old Big East stance of playing ostrich with their head in the sand for so many years while all the other BCS Conf just blew right by them is slowly beginning to change, which is a good thing.

Any fan who thinks BE management could have made Pitt, BC, Rutgers, and Temple play better football in the 90s needs to step back and take a deep breath. 03-wink

There aren't enough college football fans in Philly to support a BCS caliber team - unless it's competing for the national championship every year, and they'd quit coming to the games after the first loss. Why do people still think we need a presence there? NOBODY will EVER have a big time football presence in Philly, except the Eagles - and I wonder about them...

You could say exactly the same thing about Boston & BC seems to do okay there. And I think that's what Villanova will aspire to be - another BC.

You could have said the same thing about NY/NJ a few years ago. Pro sports town. But now Rutgers is drawing 50,000 fans just down the road from the Giants & the Jets.

There are actually a lot of college football fans in Philly. They just follow Penn State. It's not like no one in that town likes college football.

BC does OK? Have you ever been to a BC home game? Half the fans are rooting for the away team... 04-jawdrop

Rutgers has improved...but their bandwagon died and they were lucky to have 35k for a beautiful day in Novemeber versus Cuse.
