12-7 this year, 0-4 in conference. Never been to the NCAA's.

Any talk of a poor showing this year (say 6-10 in conference, no postseason) putting his job in jeopardy?

Unfortunately, from what I have been told he is not on the hot seat and will have 1 more year to get it going. Unless he just tanks the rest of the season.

I agree though he has done nothing and something needs to change.

Ole Miss doesn't care about basketball. He'll be fine.

I guess if he is not on the hot seat without winning a conference game so far in the SEC and such a record, they really must not care down their in Oxford. Maybe their are a little more patient then other teams are in their conference.

AK would have done much better here. Memphis BB vs Ole Miss BB isn't even close.

AK is a decent coach. He is not on the hot, I wouldn't think. They would be making a mistake to let him go.

He isn't going anywhere. Recruits hard. Ole Miss can't get anyone better in basketball...

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better myself. He absolutely hated Pete Boone until Pete came to his defense after the international incident. We have the first McD's All-American in school history coming in (Justin Reed was scrooooooooed, but that's besides the point) and Nick Williams shows signs of being a very good college player. The SEC West may be the easiest division in all of major college basketball to eventually dominate in and AK may or may not be the coach to do it, but we're gonna find out.

27 point win over a team that came in 2-1 in the SEC. I'll take that as a stepping stone. Week off before UT and UK at home. Both are winnable.
