RE: News
Hawaii should be the top dog with Idaho, Utah State, and Louisiana Tech looking like the next rung for now. USU is showing consistent improvement under their new coach and Idaho went to a bowl game last year. At some point though, TSU and UTSA should be putting a good team on the field enough to compete with the established WAC schools just because of their recruiting base.

Yes, UTSA in five years. Mark it down. Boise St. part two.

For now, the same as current except they've lost the NM Bowl.

The WAC will lose primary bids in the Poinsettia Bowl in 2012 and 2013. The WAC will not see a primary bid in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl again until 2014 unless this bowl seeks a new partner before them. The next three years of the Kraft Fight Hunger are for Army, Navy, and then BYU respectively. BYU has the Poinsettia Bowl in 2012 while Army will get the bid to that game in 2013.
Again, this is assuming that these teams are bowl eligible during their expected year to serve as a team in the given bowl.
In 2011 the Poinsettia, the Hawaii, and the Humanitarian Bowl will be the WAC's only bids. Remember, the WAC in 2011 will consist of the current membership minus Boise State. You figure Fresno, Nevada, and Hawaii will get those three bids if the bowl eligibility trends continue as expected.

The WAC will either get Lamar to expedite it's move to the FBS level to be ready in 2013, or the WAC will ask for a waiver to continue to serve as a viable conference with seven members.
San Jose State
Louisiana Tech
New Mexico State
Utah State
Idaho
Texas-San Antonio
Texas State
Lamar
*Denver
*Utah Valley
