Toledo-Central game thread
Not sure I heard this right, but apparently Zack Leahy will sit out tonight. One of the Rockets will miss the game, but I'm not sure I heard which one.

Time to end the road agony.

RE: Toledo-Central game thread
It is Leahy that is sitting out tonight. Mark said it's due to a minor head injury.

36-31 CMU at the half. For now. UT sank a three-pointer at the end of the half. It's being reviewed to see if it came too late.

The basket counts. 36-31 is the halftime score.

Correction. Now they're saying the basket didn't count.

I'm confused. Even more than usual.

Teams brought out of the locker room with about 8 minutes left in halftime. Eight-tenths of a second put on the clock to end the first half again. Chips try a long shot that is no good. CMU up eight and the teams go back to the locker room.

Coach K is furious, according to Mark.

I think this team of mostly freshman has hit the wall in a big way. All the steady improvement that led to the win over Valpo seems to have dissipated. Dear and Humes aren't getting boards, Thomas can't score and Holliday is the only one who seems to still have much energy. Seems like a tired team.

Doggone it, that's too bad. Hope Coack K can coach them up and get them positive again. There's potential there, just gotta get them up again.

More distracted than tired. All that talk of buying in. Discipline issues and loss of progress. The team is not as unified, it shows. It used to be or it seemed that way. Now?? Why the difference?
