With the falling snow, ice on the way, and not a single soul in the shop... I will pass the time by exploring the definition of "Mid-major" and attendance for said "Mid-majors"...

Now, we all know the famous quotes of the past from the ETSU experts (I'm taking literary license here):
1) IAA football programs will be dropping like flys (mr. stanton)
2) It's a strategic business decision, hate it fer ya, but I'm the boss (stanton again)
3) I stand on my front porch on a Saturday morning and see all the cars going by with their UT flags heading to Knoxville (mullins on his poor choice of neighborhoods)
4) I don't care what our record is (MuBar)
5) Sit down, we don't stand and cheer at OUR school (Queen B)
6) Gone are the days that mid-majors draw 10,000 people

I guess there are too many of us on here that actually remember the days when we didn't have to listen to the excuses of the administration when it came to Athletics... I really, really HATE the defeatest attitudes that we get shoved down our throats and are supposed to take as gospel.

Really interesting reflection on the Wiki... (hold on Professors! we aren't doing a research paper... so I'm using as a reference)
