I thought the refs in our game last night let the guys play and even failed to call some that I thought could have been called. The writer of this column is correct. There's nothing worse than watching refs call a foul every time someone comes near someone or slightly bumps someone. IMO the best officials are the ones who seldom blow their whistles. It has to be something that gives someone and advantage or it shouldn't be called. I can go to the Athletic club and watch guys shoot free throws. I don't want to spend an entire evening with players standing around waiting for someone to shoot a free throw.
