Very nice article about Marian Kursch this
morning. I find it interesting how she went to Coach Foley and asked what she needed to do to get more playing time. And now she's doing what he wanted and getting that time. Maybe Reggie Sonnier should have done that before he left so soon. Or maybe he did and it didn't set well with the coach. I wonder how many coaches are open to players having meetings with them to discuss their playing time. Some coaches might welcome that, showing the players are interested in improving, and others might resent it, feeling the player is questioning their authority and thinking it's none of their business, and that the coach makes those decisions. Food for thought.

I would think that would be one of the many things a head coach would and must do.
