Sorta OT: RichRod out, Former Ball State / Former UT coach Brady Hoke in?
Anyone have thoughts on Brady Hoke taking the reigns at Michigan? Will this help give MAC coaches, teams more street cred?

From ESPN's reporting, it sounds like Harbaugh wants the 49ers job and Les Miles isn't interested, so they're saying Brady Hoke could be next in line. He's currently the head coach at San Diego State, before that was at Ball State from 2003-2008, and Michigan before that from 1995-2002. I didn't realize he coached at Toledo too until I saw his Wikipedia entry, which lists him as an Outside Line Backer coach from 1987-1989. Has anyone here trained under him?

I pity anyone who picks up that job, looks like Michigan is going to be a mess for some time to come.

Having said that, someone needs to put Beckman on 24-hour surveillance to make sure he doesn't have any secret rendezvous with the Wolverines like RichRod did.

Fyi, Fun Fact: Wikipedia says Harbaugh was born in Toledo.

Coach Hoke was one of the coaches that recruited me to come to Toledo. He was a really cool guy...very energetic. I believe he landed at Oregon State after he left Toledo (Simrell firing). He's done well...it would be cool to see what he could do at UM.

More than Saben and Meyer and a bunch of national championships in the last decade have? Well, it can't hurt.
