Not even close. The woman was shaken by this. I don't know the details, but it was obvious to me that it affected her deeply, to the point of being afraid.

Some may think this is all fun and games and harmless and melodramatic and whatever. I don't give a rat's @$$. A woman, a fellow Tigers fan, felt threatened and scared, whether it was intentional or not, and that's just inexcusable.

MissJ, I only met you in person that one time. But if you need a friend, I got your back. Invite me to your next get-together. I'd love to come.

Several of us do, but I think she has really had enough of this place and will not be back any time soon. I send her a link to this thread and it made her cry, I know she misses this.

And as far as feeling stalked, I have several on my ignore list....I like this place and will not let some idiot run me off...

Tanya, You and I have never met, but I also know exactly what you look like and could pick you out of a crowd, along with your boyfriend, unless either of you have drastically changed your appearance. Unless Janice showed you pics of me, you wouldn't know me from Adam. Don't you find that a little creepy? Granted, there are many here that know me personally, but there are hundreds/thousands that don't...and never will.

In the old days, we set up get-togethers and met each another....but this place has changed for the much worse, and frankly, I don't blame her for staying away. That said, we each have to take personal responsibility for our own actions.

I am just now reading all this. I have been really busy in my real life and taken some time away from the board only to come back and find out a bunch of shitheads ran off MissJ. There is not enough internet rage to make sense of how I feel about this. I was afraid the board would get a little crazy while we weeded out some of the fair weather fans, but I had no idea it would come to something this extreme. Truly a sad loss for our little internet community.

In a completely unrelated story, there are a lot less rep points going around.
