It could be worse. Tennessee lost to the College of Charleston 91-78...

Plus we had key contributors injured. It sucks because our depth has severely taking a beating going into big east play. We have I believe 3 guys injured. Winning the UK game is important but big east play is crucial and with our injuries we could be in trouble.

I saw one point in the game where it looked like Dieng strained something while goal-tending. I bet he feels that tomorrow...

Well, the league was 24-12 against other BCS conference opponents, but having lost the last three such contests (RU vs UNC, Marq vs Vandy, and this game), we are going in the opposite direction now.

Kentucky actually looked scary good today.

Cheers,
Neil

Kentucky did look good but its easy to look good when you have a 6'4 guy playing power forward. Unfortunately when dieng rolled his ankle in the first half we had to play small the whole second half. Plus Rick was out coached. Once we get healthy we should get better but we could lose to Seton hall with depth issues.

Dieng rolled his ankle stepping on a ball pre game
Justice got concussion in practice
Marra sprained ankle in practice
Buckles spiral fracture finger in practice...

....you see a pattern here....no injuries actually in a game. Pretty frustrating.

You are aware the Sun Bowl was never an option for UofL, right?

Luckily I was drunk by the time I l left my seat to go to the Spirit Room, so I barely remember it.
