I'll agree that 31 might be conservative. But I wouldn't have any way of knowing either. I became a ticket holder during Newell's last year or two, and we haven't been since then. I never thought of myself as a masochist, but I'm beginning to take another look since I've bought tickets all these years with very little results. Like some others of you have stated, it seems that it's just not as much fun anymore. I just want something good to happen for our program, and it seems like it's Groundhog day. Same old things over and over again. At some point, the cycle has to be broken.

I guess I must be different from either side in this issue. I'd like to have a team to support that wins 20+ games e most years and also goes to some post season(NCAA or NIT)most years. No, I'm not interested in just winning the tournament, and making one big spash. In fact, I'd be embarrassed for the Trojans to go to the tournament with a losing record. I guess Mike Newell spoiled me.

I just assume that if you win 20 games most years, the rest of it will take care of itself in time.

Maybe the NCAA will go to a format that includes all teams and it won't matter, anyway.

The way things are going Pappy, that's probably the only way we'd ever make the tournament.
