I remember getting forms to nominate people in the past as well but none of my nominations made it either. WHO IS in the UALR Hall of Fame? is there a hidden link on the website? A Hall of Fame display at the Jack? if not, those might be good ideas to at least let people know who is in the HOF.

The only basketball player that I can think of off the top of my head is James Scott. He was inducted several years ago at halftime of a game. Of course I guess they're just waiting on Fish to retire. He's a shoe-in. I'm sure there are other basketball players, but I can't think of any off hand. No doubt Chastity, Kim, and Jocelyn will be there some day soon. Well, I wouldn't bet on it though. You know what they say; out of sight, out of mind.

I thought I heard talk of a Hall of Fame at the Jack. Don't know if something was done or not. Since I don't know, my guess would be probably not. Until there is some type of "physical" display, its kind of meaningless anyway. Some who don't like who's been left out, would argue its meaningless either way.

Money Dobbins was inducted a couple of seasons ago.

I found the following when I did a search on the official site:
Alan Barksdale
Myron Jackson
Mike Rivers

From memory, it seems we inducted ??? (forgot first name) Johnson a few seasons ago too.

I guess the HOF is meaningless to our athletic department too. It seems like there should be a link on the official website that talks about the HOF and who is in it. What is the point of the HOF if you can not readily look on the official website and find out or go to somewhere on campus to see the names. Just a thought.

I just googled UALR hall of fame and one of the responses brought be right back to this thread.
